Tapered caps & plugs are designed to be installed using a friction fit. The design allows the protector to be used as a cap or a plug. This protector can be installed in most threaded and non-threaded internal and external fittings. The tapered caps and plugs provide excellent protection against damage, dirt and moisture that can occur during storage or shipping.
