News: Coretrax, a global specialist in well integrity and production optimization, completed a world record breaking project with its scalable technology for a major natural gas operator in the Utica Basin in the northeastern United States.
Technology: The company successfully deployed the ReLineMNS system in three Wells and extended more than 27,000 feet of string throughout the operation.With one of the expandable liners reaching a height of 9,000 feet duringexpansion, all installations broke the previous record of 7,243 feet by at least 1,000 feet.
Equipment: In seven days of field operations, from start of expansion to exit from the top of the liner, it took only nine hours per well.The use of a full-length liner solves well integrity issues, and the overall setting time is significantly less than that of competitive products on the market, with a setting time of approximately 1,000 feet per hour.Coretrax's technology used a 4.25-inch od liner in each well.At liner expansion, the expanded bore was 4.1 in., with an internal pressure capacity of more than 10,000psi, covering identified well problems.
